چکیده

Disassembly is one of the most time-consuming and labor-intensive activities during value recovery end-of-life (EOL) products. The completion time (makespan) disassembling EOL products highly associated with allocation operators, especially in parallel disassembly. In this paper, asynchronous disassembly planning (APDP), which avoids necessity to synchronize tasks manipulators process, studied optimize task assignment for minimal makespan. We utilize four mixed integer linear programming (MILP) formulations identify optimal solutions. A set different-sized instances are used test compare performance proposed models, including some real-world cases. Finally, exact algorithm further compared existing approach solving APDP. Results indicate that a significant difference exists terms computational efficiency MILP while three can efficiently achieve better solutions than approach.

Simultaneous Selective Disassembly and End-of-Life Decision Making for Multiple Products That Share Disassembly Operations

Environmental protection legislation, consumer interest in “green” products, a trend toward corporate responsibility and recognition of the potential profitability of salvaging operations, has resulted in increased interest in product take back. However, the cost effectiveness of product take-back operations is hampered by many factors, including the high cost of disassembly and a widely varyin...

“the effect of risk aversion on the demand for life insurance: the case of iranian life insurance market”

abstract: about 60% of total premium of insurance industry is pertained?to life policies in the world; while the life insurance total premium in iran is less than 6% of total premium in insurance industry in 2008 (sigma, no 3/2009). among the reasons that discourage the life insurance industry is the problem of adverse selection. adverse selection theory describes a situation where the inf...

An Evolutionary Algorithm for Selective Disassembly of End-of-Life Products

This paper addresses the problem of creating intelligent, green, and financially-beneficial disassembly sequences for end-of-life (EOL) electronic products. These complex EOL products contain a broad spectrum of materials including precious metals. Therefore, one would have to process these products to retrieve the value buried in them. EOL processing options include, reuse, remanufacturing, re...

Coordination of Collection and Disassembly Planning for End-of-Life Product

This work proposes a formulation for coordinating between collection and disassembly planning for an End-of-Life (EOL) product. The coordination deals with the balance between the number of products collected, the inventory level and the number of products disassembled. The objective function aims to minimize the total cost including the disassembly cost, the penalty cost, the holding cost and ...

A Robotic-Driven Disassembly Sequence Generator for End-Of-Life Electronic Products

In this study, we propose an intelligent automated disassembly cell for online (real time) selective disassembly. The cell is composed of an industrial robotic manipulator, a camera, range sensing and component segmentation visual algorithms. The cell prototype allows for robotic sensory-driven disassembly under uncertainty. An online genetic algorithm model for selective disassembly is also pr...
